Karl Blossfeldt

These are the few pages I did after my research into photographer Karl Blossfeldt, I took my photographs, then on the contact sheet I choose the photographs to edit then drew on how I planned to edit them. The next page shows screen prints on how I edited the photographs, and the final page shows the original and the final photographs.

Stencil & Screen Print

Altered Imagery - Manual Manipulation

These 3 pages are from my exam piece in my AS year, where we began to use various methods to manipulate our photographs, by using sellotape, masking tape and tracing paper. I really enjoyed this methods, even if they did take a while to create.

Location Photography

These pages of photographs from my first photography book and linked to Location photography. The first pages are from a visit to Dunham Massey, and the bottom photographs are from the area I live in, where i kept close to the leading lines composition rule.

Cindy Sherman

These are a few pages from my first AS photography book, were we researched into Cindy Sherman, and then tried our own work in her style. We did this by dressing someone else up as a celebrity and taking studio photographs of them. I really enjoyed this as it got me into the studio, experimenting with lights and composition.

Manchester AS Photography

These four photographs are from a trip to Manchester with the Art Department at College, in my first year. As I was new to photography, I experimented, and tried to involve composition rules within my photographs. I took photographs around the outside of The Triangle and Piccadilly Gardens.
